Hostess


  • Experience: A minimum of one year as a hostess. Experience in luxury restaurants will be valued.
  • Languages: Command of English is essential. Knowledge of other languages will be highly valued.
  • Specific knowledge: User-level knowledge of the Office package and social networks. Knowledge of the El Tenedor reservations programme would be appreciated.
  • Competencies: We are looking for a person with excellent communication skills, who should be customer focused. In addition, they should be decisive and flexible and show a high commitment towards the company. The hostess must be a charismatic person, with initiative, who is fast, effective, a perfectionist, and trustworthy.

FUNCTIONS AND TASKS OF THE POSITION

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager and Second Maître, to the owner, and the operations director, their duties will be:

Management of reservations (through internal system, web, calls to the restaurant, emails etc). Management of groups. Control of the central desk. Reception of customers and accompanying them to their tables. Checking the details and cleanliness of the restaurant. Help in the dining room, should it become necessary. Looking after the customer cloakroom. Supervision of various information in the restaurant’s different promotional channels (Facebook, Instagram, TripAdvisor, etc).

WE ARE OFFERING

Type of contract: the initial contract will be three months with subsequent renewals by agreement.

Annual gross salary according to agreement.

Expected start date: immediate.

A pastry chef


Duties:

  • Supporting all service activities
  • Taking stock inventories and ordering supplies of raw materials
  • Preparation and presentation of desserts and pastries
  • Preparation and presentation of different types of creative international desserts
  • Following APPCC regulations

Requirements:

  • Training: cooking technician
  • Experience:
    • Pastry chef in a restaurant or hotel for a minimum of one year
    • Restaurants or hotels of a high level
  • Available at required hours

Contract is offered with the possibility of a permanent position, full time, two days off, and a professional development plan.

Sushiman/Sushiwoman


Duties:

  • Handling and preparation of raw produce with maximum respect for the ingredients
  • Preparing dishes according to quality standards
  • Creation of new dishes using creativity
  • Taking stock inventories and ordering supplies of raw materials
  • Following APPCC regulations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in similar positions desirable
  • Passion for restaurant work and desire to grow
  • Available to work split shifts
  • Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and respect for the produce
  • Knowledge of cooking hot dishes
  • Organisational skills

Contract is offered with the possibility of a permanent position, full time, two days off, and a professional development plan.
